Holomua was born from the intersection of where I come from, the work I’ve dedicated my life to, and a belief that has shaped both my personal and professional journey: we are meant to keep moving forward.

In Hawaiian, Holomua means to move forward, to progress, and to advance. To me, those words represent more than movement—they represent purpose. Moving forward doesn’t always mean moving faster. Sometimes it means healing. Sometimes it means slowing down, reconnecting, becoming more intentional, or taking one meaningful step toward a healthier and more balanced life.

That philosophy has been shaped deeply by where I grew up.

I was born and raised on the island of Kauaʻi, where connection to the natural world wasn’t something we had to intentionally schedule into our lives—it was simply part of everyday life. I grew up constantly in the ocean, at the beach, outdoors, and running barefoot wherever I went. My feet were in the sand, on the grass, in the dirt, and in the saltwater. The ocean was a place to play, reset, reflect, and reconnect.

Looking back, I realize how much those experiences shaped the way I understand wellness today.

There is something powerful about feeling connected—to the earth beneath you, to the environment around you, to your own body, and to the people you share life with. Growing up on Kauaʻi taught me that wellness is not simply about addressing something when it goes wrong. It is about how we live, how we care for ourselves, how connected we are, and how intentionally we move through life.

That same philosophy eventually became part of my professional calling.
As a Licensed Professional Counselor and mental health therapist, I’ve dedicated much of my life to helping people move forward mentally and emotionally. I’ve had the privilege of walking alongside people through difficult seasons, helping them process what they’ve experienced, understand themselves more deeply, reconnect with what matters, and take meaningful steps toward the life they want to live.

Over time, I began to see wellness through an even broader lens.

Our mental, emotional, and physical well-being are deeply interconnected. We are whole people, and caring for ourselves means recognizing that each part of our well-being can influence the others.

My interest in advanced PEMF technology grew from that same whole-person perspective. After experiencing it firsthand and seeing the difference it made in my own life, my family, and others around me, I became passionate about exploring another way of supporting people—not only mentally and emotionally through my work as a therapist, but also from a physical wellness standpoint through innovative technology designed to support the body.

I believe technology like this has remained outside the mainstream for far too long. Too many people simply don’t know that PEMF technology exists, what it is, or how it may fit into a broader approach to wellness. I believe it’s time for more people to know about it, experience it, and have the opportunity to decide for themselves how it might support their wellness journey.

That belief has become part of my mission. I have a genuine passion for sharing this technology with others and helping bring greater awareness to what is possible when innovation and intentional wellness come together. My hope is to share it with the world—but that mission starts right here, in my own community.

For me, Holomua Wellness is a starting point: a place where I can introduce something I deeply believe in, educate others, and help make this technology more accessible—one person, one family, and one community at a time.

In many ways, it brought me back to something familiar.

Growing up barefoot on Kauaʻi, surrounded by the ocean and connected to the natural environment, I experienced that sense of connection without ever needing a name for it. Today, my philosophy brings together that appreciation for nature and connection with modern wellness technology.

That is the heart behind Holomua Wellness.

It represents my belief that wellness is not about chasing perfection. It is about becoming more intentional with how we care for our minds, our bodies, and our overall well-being so that we can continue moving forward in meaningful ways.

Whether I’m helping someone navigate their mental and emotional health as a therapist or introducing someone to PEMF technology as another part of their physical wellness journey, the purpose behind what I do remains the same:

To help people move forward—with greater intention, greater connection, and greater purpose.

From the shores of Kauaʻi to The Woodlands, Texas, this is more than a name. It is a philosophy I carry with me and a reflection of where I come from, what I believe, and why I do this work.
