Growing up on Kauaʻi, Hawaiʻi, connection to the earth wasn’t something we intentionally scheduled into our day. It was simply part of everyday life. Walking barefoot outside. Feeling the grass and soil beneath our feet. Spending time at the beach, swimming in the ocean, and being surrounded by mountains, rain, wind, and sunlight.
